BEAUTI

Beauty and Glamour Galore:

"Let's talk beauty! What's the one must-have product you can't live without off-camera? Share the scoop on your go-to glam essential that never fails to dazzle!"

I am addicted to moisturized lips, so I always carry at least 4 of my favorite lip balms and oils. My go-to's right now is AMI COLÉ Hydrating Lip Treatment Oil in the shade "Reflection, Summer Fridays "Pink Sugar" Lip Butter BalmRhode Peptide Lip Treatment in "Salted Caramel," and I can't go wrong with good ol' Aquaphor ointment!

Fitness Fun Zone:

"Time for a fitness twist! If you had to recommend working out only one part of the body, which part would it be?

In fitness, a full-body workout will always be best, but if I could only choose one area of focus, I'd go with the glutes for obvious reasons.

COCKTAILS...

Celebrity Cocktail Adventure:

"Imagine having cocktails with a famous figure, dead or alive. Where would it be, and what drink would you sip on? Plus, what burning question would you be dying to ask them?

I would be sipping wine with my Scorpio twin, Kris Jenner, and asking her every business question imaginable or drinking margaritas with Selena. She was such a queen; I feel like we would

have such a fun time, and the true crime junkie in me would want to get to the bottom of what happened.

#GIRLTALK

Musical Maestro Moment:

"Let's groove! Music wouldn't be the same without this iconic artist. Who's that? What's your ultimate favorite song by them? Share the tune that never fails to get you moving and grooving!"

Beyoncé is the only answer! I have so many faves from her, but my most recent favorite has to be 16 Carriages. It's a perfect song from start to finish. My favorite Beyoncé songs of all time are Smash Into You,

1+1, All Night, Dangerously In Love, Broken Hearted Girl, all of the Renaissance and Lemonade albums - so basically, every Beyoncé song :)

Jamaica

Your mom's family hails from Jamaica, a vibrant country; our esteemed publisher, Nicola Holness-Haggins, was born there.

Picture this: you're sharing a delightful dinner with Nicola. If you had the chance, which delectable Jamaican dish would you savor during this delightful meal? And when it comes to conversation, would you opt for regular English or embrace the rhythmic charm of Patois? Additionally, we're curious to know which cherished tradition has been passed down to you through your Jamaican roots. Oh, and one more thing: is Kamie your given name, or is it a fabulous nickname? HAHAHA. I'm sure you get that joke.

Wahgwan Nicola!!! We have curry shrimp, rice, peas with cabbage and plantain, and a curry chicken patty with fresh cocoa bread from Tastee or Juici Patties. Nicola could speak to me in Patois, and I will answer in English to have a mix of both! I am incredibly proud to be the first generation on my mom's side and have strong Jamaican roots. My earliest memories are traveling to Montego Bay, where my family is from. Throughout my life, my favorite traditions have been involving food. I remember being 3 years old, standing on a chair beside the stove, dropping dumplings in the pot with my grandma, and eating a hot plate of stew beef, rice, and peas. My grandpa gave me Jamaican dollars to buy a Kola or candy at the supermarket. My mom made my great-grandma's famous chicken soup whenever I was sick because Jamaicans eat soup no matter the weather! I am who I am because of my ancestors and their strength. Also - Kamie is my nickname! My name is Kameran - but my grandma calls me Sweet Sweet ;) Shoutout to my Uncle Jean, Auntie Sunshine, and Auntie Rosie, whose real names I found out 3 years ago!

Health and Wellness

"Embracing Wellness:

Can you share your empowering approach to prioritizing health and wellness daily? What transformative advice would you offer to those seeking to embark on a similar journey of well-being and self-care?"

Although my life is very unpredictable, I value a routine. Setting up a self-care routine reminds you to stay accountable to yourself and your goals. Fitness and therapy are two pieces of my weekly routine that keep me mentally focused and emotionally energized for the week. I tell everyone that your routines don't have to be these monumental, scheduled parts of your day - a part of your routine can be making your bed or going on a walk around your neighborhood, and if that's all you've been able to accomplish that day, then good for you! We need to take the pressure off and focus on what feels right.

"Empowering Wellness Journey:

We'd love to hear about a pivotal moment from your wellness journey that ignited a positive shift in your lifestyle or mindset.

Like most people, I was struggling during the pandemic. I was a part of the first wave of COVID-19 cases. I struggled personally and professionally, not knowing how the television industry would go (shoutout to the Catfish pandemic episodes from home!). I needed to put my energy somewhere, so I decided to get a trainer and therapist. Both decisions changed my life, but at a certain point, you get tired of your excuses and realize that pouring back into yourself is the best investment you can make.

Off-Camera and Personal Life Beyond the Podcast: Emanate Inspiration and Motivation "Beyond the podcast: Unveil the essence of Kamie Crawford away from the spotlight.

How do you nourish your soul and achieve equilibrium in your realm?

" My family, childhood best friends, and boyfriend always bring me back to home base. They are my peace and creative directors; I'm so grateful for them.

Hobbies and Passions: Ignite Inspiration and Motivation. "Unveiling Joyful Pursuits:

Can you illuminate a hobby or passion that brings you profound happiness and fulfillment outside your professional journey?"

I've been blessed to have made my hobbies into my career, with TV being one of them. I love consuming media. TV shows, podcasts, social media, etc. Outside of that, I love interior design. I take after my mom that way, so I'm constantly re-organizing or redecorating something. My home is my sanctuary, and after becoming a first-time home buyer right before I turned 30, I love adding to it.

Overcoming Challenges, Overcoming Adversity: Empowering Resilience and Growth: "Thriving Through Adversity:

How have your trials nurtured your personal growth and resilience? What empowering counsel would you offer those encountering analogous challenges on their journey?"

Everything happens for a reason, and the ups and downs are necessary for any success story. At times in my career, I wondered why certain things weren't happening for me. Still, I realized I needed more tools in my toolbox, aka more experience - good and bad. So remind yourself that the ebbs and flows are all a part of your journey, and embrace them as much as possible.

Manifestation and Mindset. Embracing the Power of Manifestation:

How do you incorporate the influence of positive thinking and intention into your life? What are your thoughts on the transformative power of manifestation?"

Manifestation and prayer are daily practices for me. Even when my loved ones share their dreams with me, I always correct their "ifs" with "whens ". One of my favorite mantras is, "Whether you believe you can or whether you believe you can't, you are right." That speaks to the importance of positive thinking and speaking life into your dreams.

Manifesting Success Stories: "Illuminating the Magic of Manifestation:

Can you recount a moment where you felt that manifestation played a pivotal role in attaining a goal or bringing a dream to fruition?

When I was still an aspiring TV Host, I would tell everyone when I was networking that I was a TV Host when they asked, "What show do you host?" I would always respond, "I am freelance at the moment." Hiding or downplaying your goals doesn't do anything but prove to others and the universe that you are not ready for or feel you are worthy of your blessings. So speak of them loudly and proudly!

Empowering Others Igniting Inspiration: "Sparking Transformation:

In what ways do you aspire to ignite Inspiration and motivate others through your experiences and the content you create? How do you envision empowering those who engage with your journey?"

The most important thing to me in everything I do is authenticity. I am a real person with real-life experiences, and I love sharing them with my supporters. I hope to show others that you can make a career out of being yourself, and you will feel even more accomplished having achieved your dreams without sacrificing your integrity.

Championing Mental Health: "Elevating Mental Well-being:

What initiatives or practices do you champion to advocate for mental health awareness and overall well-being within your community or platform? Your advocacy can inspire positive change and resilience."

Therapy has transformed my life, and I recommend it to everyone. Being Black and being a Caribbean child, therapy wasn't something that was advocated for in my household growing up. I didn't even know it existed until I got older. Prayer was the only answer to your troubles back then. I think it is essential that we normalize therapy within our communities and break those generational misconceptions.

Achieving Balance. Work-Life Balance:

How do you maintain a healthy balance between your professional commitments and personal well-being, and what strategies have worked well for you?

I'm still improving this because I am constantly working on or brainstorming about something. Keeping up with my routines and acknowledging moments when I feel overwhelmed and need to turn my brain off for a while has been helpful for me. Sometimes, I must watch mindless TV silently or call my mom for three hours. I do what feels good now and try not to feel guilty about it later. Taking breaks can be productive, too.

What's next for you, Kamie?

I'm currently focused on building my production portfolio and creating the shows I want to see. Hosting is my passion, but I also strongly desire to be behind the camera. I'm also excited to continue building the podcast, sharing stories from my listeners and advice from people I admire. I want to keep creating safe spaces where people can be themselves.
